Work Truck Week 2025 took place from March 4-7, 2025, bringing together industry professionals dedicated to the design, build, operation, and maintenance of commercial vehicles and equipment. For 25 years, this premier event has served as a platform for exploring the latest innovations, sharing knowledge, and shaping the future of transportation.
Attendees had the opportunity to discover cutting-edge commercial vehicles, equipment, and products from 500 exhibitors while gaining insights from leading chassis OEMs on vehicle changes and upfitting solutions. NTEA’s advanced vehicle and fuel technology conference provided additional expertise, helping participants optimize commercial vehicle design and specifications, connect with customers, and collaborate with management, product, and engineering teams.
Held at the Indiana Convention Center, the largest convention center in the state, Work Truck Week featured an expansive exhibit floor showcasing the newest technology and vehicles in the work truck industry. Exhibits ranged from exhaust systems to upfitted chassis and other essential components, allowing attendees to explore nearly every aspect of commercial vehicle innovation in one location.

The event officially began with the Green Truck Summit on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, an annual feature of Work Truck Week dedicated to sustainability and efficiency in the work truck industry. Industry experts led in-depth sessions covering advanced vehicle and fuel technologies, zero-emission targets, technology adoption, and automation in commercial vehicles. The Green Truck Summit, held at the JW Marriott across from the convention center, provided attendees with valuable strategies and insights into the rapidly evolving commercial vehicle landscape.
Tuesday also featured educational sessions, including the “Work Truck Industry Economic Overview and Market Forecast,” where S&P Global Mobility Executive Director Andrej Divis and Chief Economist Robert Fry presented market trends and economic analysis to help businesses optimize their planning. Additional breakout sessions allowed attendees to engage with multiple chassis manufacturers on upcoming updates and technological advancements.
Wednesday continued the momentum with more technical sessions and discussions, including “The Future of Hybrid in Commercial Vehicle Propulsion,” additional chassis updates, and insights into regulatory requirements. One of the highlights of the day was the Ride and Drive event, where attendees had the chance to test drive commercial vehicles equipped with the latest advancements in fuel efficiency, sustainability, and propulsion systems. This hands-on experience allowed participants to explore how emerging vehicle technologies could benefit their operations and fleet management strategies.
Thursday kicked off with an inspiring keynote address by Mike Krzyzewski, the legendary Duke University men’s basketball coach. His session focused on leadership and motivation, providing attendees with strategies for fostering success within their teams and businesses. The day continued with additional breakout sessions covering emissions regulations, leadership, and fleet management, ensuring that attendees left with actionable insights tailored to their industry roles.
The event wrapped up on Friday with a series of press conferences and one final opportunity to explore the exhibit floor. Work Truck Week 2025 once again proved to be an invaluable event for industry professionals, providing a comprehensive look at the latest trends, technologies, and strategies shaping the commercial vehicle sector.
