Helping Chicago Drive Clean
Did you know Chicago is home to the largest private bus fleet in the U.S.? The Drive Clean Chicago program helped make it possible.
Given the fluctuation in fuel costs, vehicle emissions and the lack of infrastructure for alternative fuels, Drive Clean Chicago provides important incentives to help Chicago fleet owners purchase cleaner vehicles that are better for business and the environment.
The City of Chicago has submitted a Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning (CMAP) application for $20 million in funding for future funding for Class 3 to Class 8 vehicles. To track progress of the funding, visit this link.
